Client:
Prisma Cloud
Brief:
Provide a short intro for the Codified Security Video Podcast.
Notes:
I created a fun, 'coder friendly' pixel reveal style for the customer provided logo; I think the synthwave track really complements this.
The intro is intended to convey the fun style of the presenters but also be straight enough to reflect the high knowledge levels that they're working from.
Client:
Wired_In
Brief:
Create a short intro for a tech based podcast
Notes:
This was basically a brief without a brief. The grids, zeroes and ones, font and test colours are all used to reflect the technical nature of the pod.
Client:
AWS Community Summit
Brief:
Edit Highlight Reel for 2023 AWS Community Summit.

Notes:
This was a great event with a huge amount of footage to work through.
I created an animated logo intro and several other animated elements to tie the edit together.
Client:
Steamhaus
Brief:
Provide a short animated company ident with original music
Notes:
The Steamhaus logo has a very distinctive style, the animated ident needed to follow that closely.
The music was written to encapsulate the steampunk feeling of old and new - the traditional piano leading into contemporary synth strings.
Client:
Isovalent
Brief:
Edit the 2 day eBPF summit into a highlight video.
Notes:
I created all the artwork and animation and sourced the music for the eBPF 23 summit. The video showcases the best of the 2 days and includes reference to all the talks that were hosted.
I also created animations to convey the interactive nature of the summit and bringing some of the slack activity to life.
Client:
DoiT International
Brief:
Provide a fun animated introduction to the '16 Bit Breakfast Show'.
Notes:
This was a 'just have fun with it' brief. The clients wanted something fun that showed the evolution of the show from the previous year's '8 Bit Breakfast Show'.
I'd have loved more time on this project but the very tight turnaround meant keeping things simple!
Client:
DTX
Brief:
Provide a short promo for the first Comsum & DTX in person event since 2019.
Notes:
The visual themes for the live show and the theatre graphics were all based around old IBM Vacuum Tape Drives.
The neon flickering into life represented live events reopening post lockdown.
T-Shirts and stickers were also produced around these and the 'IRL' themes.
Client:
Isovalent
Brief:
Produce a 15-20 second intro video for an online Capture the Flag event.
Notes:
Another 'just have fun' brief.
The '8 bit Bee' was an existing character for the client. The nature of the CTF game and the pre existing '8 Bit Bee' lent itself well to the video game aesthetic of the piece.
Client:
AWS Community Summit
Brief:
Produce a intro for an online talk on Event Driven Architecture
Notes:
I love retro sci fi. The 'Mother' computer from alien is a brilliant design that gets overshadowed by the H.R Geiger aesthetic that dominates the rest of the franchise. I used the mother design as a frame to introduce the topic and speakers and created my own 8 bit look for the content. The crew member watching the video added an small element of humour to the piece
Client:
AWS Community Summit
Brief:
Provide a short animated announcement trailer featuring topline information for the 2023 Comsum Live event in Manchester.
Notes:
This was an early announcement for a future event. The feel of the piece is inspired by 80's Sci- Fi films in the vein of John Carpenter.
